NAUA is a project of Juan Cristobal Ribes and Diana Salcedo aka DeeDee, musicians born and raised in Mexico City. Juan studied contemporany music composition, being the guitar his main instrument. Later, he got his hands on a Jupiter 4 synthesizer, and since then, began to tweak sounds and collaborate with frient making Trance music. DeeDee was amazed by Trance music at the first party she attended, and from then on she got interested in music production and sound design. In 2002 they began their first project together called Solar Gilders, releasing tracks on compilations for known labels. In 2007 they moved to Barcelona to study audio engineering. Their actual sound can be described as a unique mix of uplifting grooves blended with mysterious elements. What they try to achieve with their music is a combination of different electronic music styles, creating a unique and fresh sound.
